Call For Papers·APCSCRM2019

The wide bandgap semiconductors have been a topic of much interest spanning from fundamental research to industrial applications in power electronics, light emitting diodes, 5G telecommunications, etc. over the last decades. It is the aim of the Asia-Pacific Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (APCSCRM) to provide a forum to report the recent progresses, exchange ideas, and boost the cooperation among the researchers, graduates, entrepreneurs, and businessmen as well from across the Asia-Pacific region. Sessions are focused on the growth and characterizations of materials, the fabrication and performance of devices, and their applications in a number of industrial sectors. The topics are not limited only to silicon carbide, other wide bandgap semiconductors such as gallium nitride, aluminum nitride, boron nitride, gallium oxide, zinc oxide, diamond, etc. will be covered also.

The first Conference (APCSCRM-2018) was held on July 9-12 2018 in Beijing, China and included plenary talks, invited lectures, contributed papers, and open discussions. Attendance totaled over 400 of which about 160 were from industry, and well represented by Japan, South Korea, China, Switzerland, United States, Sweden, Germany, Russia and so on. Following successful APCSCRM-2018, the APCSCRM-2019 organized by the Innovation Association of Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Technology (IAWBS), Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), the Institute of physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOP, CAS) and China Crystallographic Society (CCRS) is scheduled on July 17-20, 2019 in Beijing（Empark Grand Hotel）, China.

As in last conference, the APCSCRM-2019 is focused on the same theme. We would like to call for your participation in this conference. Your presence is the key to the success of this international assembly.
