【Conference review】APCSCRM 2022

    On November 15, 2022, the Third Asia Pacific Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials was grandly opened in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China. This conference features over thirty top industry experts, entrepreneurs, and academic representatives from Germany, the United States, Japan, China, and other countries. Through online and offline channels, the conference focuses on the wide bandgap semiconductor materials, devices, applications, and other fields, bringing a wonderful and diverse feast of technology and industry, and jointly exploring hot topics and new trends in the wide bandgap semiconductor industry.

    APCSCRM 2022 was hosted by IAWBS (Innovation Association of Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Technology), IOP, CAS  (Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Semiconductor Materials Branch of China Electronic Materials Industry Association, SEMI (International Semiconductor industry Association), and China Crystal Society.

    On the afternoon of November 16, 2022, APCSCRM 2022 was successfully concluded in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China. During the two-day meeting, The report experts mainly conducted comprehensive and in-depth sharing and exchange on topics such as the growth and epitaxial technology of wide bandgap semiconductor materials; wide bandgap semiconductor devices and testing analysis technology; wide bandgap semiconductor device packaging modules, system solutions, and applications, effectively promoting academic research, technological progress, and industrial development in many fields such as wide bandgap semiconductor materials, devices, and applications in the Asia Pacific region.

    At the closing ceremony, the Chinese chairman of the conference, Prof. Chen, announced the list of outstanding posters for the conference. The poster is selected layer by layer from the numerous submissions received by the conference team, and is finally selected through a joint selection of experts from three special sessions: materials, devices, and applications.
